Areas of Practice > Public Procurement

Our law has a long standing expertise in the field of public procurement by offering advice to participants in tender procedures or to contracting authorities during all the stages of a tender procedure, from drafting the tender notice to the conclusion of the contract with the contractor. That also includes providing legal advice to the committees running tender procedures and deciding about objections and administrative appeals lodged against the contracting authorities, representing clients before any public authority or court (Administrative Court of Appeals, Council of State, Court of Audit), as well as drafting objections and administrative appeals against contracting authorities on behalf of clients participating in tender procedures for the conclusion of public contracts. The firm played a definitive role in the public tender procedures and public contracts concluded in the run up to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the tender procedures for digital projects at various archaeological museums and sites in Greece, and in tender procedures for projects within the scope of Operational Programmes “Envirornment and Sustainable Development”, “Digital Planning” and “Competitiveness & Entrepreneurship” 2007-2013. Moreover, a considerable amount of the firm’s time has been dedicated to the preparation of public-private partnerships on behalf of the Ministry of Finance’s Special Secretariat for Public-Private Partnerships, a field in which the firm has been particularly successful.
